Who am I?

I was born in the 1900s in Toledo, Ohio, the sixth of six kids (my parents stopped when they finally got a good one). I grew up to become a paramedic. Having spent two decades on the streets of Toledo and Cincinnati helping people wherever illness or injury overtook them, I took a job with the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Emergency Medical Services Division and became a faceless bureaucrat. I set up and oversaw the operations of research data systems for EMS and trauma care. I have since retired and moved with my best friend/soulmate/wife to Virginia Beach.

I spend my time volunteering at the Military Aviation Museum and occasionally helping Virginia Beach EMS with recruiting or playing a ‘victim’ for training Academies. The rest of the week I’m just screwing around, playing with the two dogs and the cat (all rescues), and taking pictures.

The random musings of a retired paramedic and former faceless bureaucrat, with the occasional outbursts of trivia from the goblins of minutiae that live in my head, hoarding tidbits of knowledge.
